Scattered throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are both literal prophecies and mystery clues about a powerful, influential individual that will arise on the world stage at the end of the age known as the Antichrist or “the Beast” of Revelation. He will arise as the head of a last days global empire, become progressively more power mad, and cause in time widespread, “astounding devastation” in the earth.
This empire is said to be “different” than all others that came before it, a vague-enough term and perhaps typical of Biblical understatement. We do know that the United States is the lone world super power of our time, the only nation in history to divide up the entire earth into seven global military command regions. If that’s not a de facto world empire, and one that controls a de facto world currency, the US dollar, I don’t know what is.
Donald Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” has pushed this gargantuan military budget to over one trillion dollars for fiscal 2026. China, the second nation behind us comes in at 25%, Russia the third at 15%. Russia has 13 military bases on foreign soil, China only three. The United States has 128 in 56 countries.
This character is said to arise like “a little horn” speaking “great things” (lit. endless boasts and bragging). He will be seen as a peace maker, or at least market himself as one. And he will bring out the worst in that empire in terms of aggression, entitlement and projecting the Ugly American syndrome around the world.
Don’t Expect American Christians to Recognize the Antichrist For You
American Christians are generally so brainwashed in right-wing politics that they are some of the worst “witnesses” explaining these things to a baffled world. They have assumed for over a century now that this character will be the head of a world government; thus their paranoia about the United Nations. They have assumed he would appear as a left-leaning, New Agey kind of deceiver who suddenly turns into a world dictator.
None of these things are necessary to explain these prophecies. When people make bad interpretations of mystery clues especially, they can be in the ballpark and yet not know if they’re standing on home plate or the outfield.
Indeed, what is painted here in the Bible is an entire scenario, like a movie script, that plays out into an end-of-the-age climax. That climax includes a final huge battle in Israel’s backyard called Armageddon that will occasion the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and the dawn of a true New Age of peace and prosperity for the world. All is not doom and gloom for the world. But you must understand what is going on in order to intelligently navigate your way through it and be a part of God’s eternal Kingdom.
In short, you need a guide who can see that ballpark in the big picture perspective and help you and your family survive it. That’s where I come in. I have spent the last 50 years intensively studying this subject. This website and my reading materials are my gift to you to raise your awareness of what’s going on and why.
