Trump and Putin To Sell Out Ukraine in Alaska
Trump is not serious about a peace deal; he’s in cahoots with Vladimir Putin to pull his peanuts out of the fire, because he’s losing the Ukraine War.
As I write it is Monday, August 11, 2025, and on Friday, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are due to meet in Alaska for some so-called peace talks to end the Russia-Ukraine War. It will be the first time for the Russian leader to be on US soil since 2015, and not without symbolic significance. Russia sold Alaska to the US in 1867, no doubt for what they considered to be a song, and Putin wants that back too, and even some of Canada.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has not been invited as of yet but Trump has been mumbling something along the line of maybe inviting him, with all other details unavailable of course. No planning, no elaborate set up. Just day-by-day flying by the seat of one’s pants.
What is essential for you to understand though, is that this meeting is not about getting peace at all, but is a grand ruse wherein Trump and Putin are trying the fool the world and hide the fact that Russia is on the ropes, and the valiant Ukrainians are on the verge of an outright victory Trump and Putin are trying to steal from them.
Now you may be asking, “So what? Who cares?” Well, that’s true. If you don’t understand that Donald Trump is well on his way to becoming the storied Antichrist or Beast of Revelation 13, you probably couldn’t care less. But if you’re a faithful follower of Jesus Christ like those ten virgins who were ready when their Lord arrived, and not like the foolish ones sleeping (Mt 25:1-13), this should matter to you!
Why? Because several of the clues about him are that “he shall cause craft [statecraft] to prosper in his hand” (i.e., will be a master deceiver/manipulator)…and by peace shall destroy many” (Dan 8:25). Moreover, the Antichrist will walk in the ways of the Bear” (Rev 13:2).
A Much-Needed War Update
Even though Russian efforts and morale have been plummeting for some time, they are now seriously getting their clock cleaned by little Ukraine. Russia has lost 1.05 million men since this war started in 2022, a rate of a thousand casualties per day, about 40% of them being killed outright! Even a nation with a long-standing barbaric strategy of just throwing men into a meat grinder until the other side loses, cannot withstand that kind of a burden forever. Former Navy Seal Team 6 leader Chuck Pfarrer explains here:
As of the end of 2024, I had the false impression Russia seemed on track to win this war if only by attrition, but Ukrainian adaptations to the best of asymmetrical warfare theory have been far superior.
One example of how they’ve been shocking the world with their prowess took place on June 1 with Operation Spider’s Web. Five Russian military air bases were attacked and 41 of their heavy bombers and surveillance planes destroyed. Amazingly, it was carried out from within Russia by smuggling in the attack drones and unleashing them simultaneously all over the far-flung parts of that nation. It was a strike that shook Russia to its core.
Likewise, a concerted effort by Russia on July 27 to punch through Ukraine’s defense line turned out to be a rout. Costing $350 million and 71 vehicles including large tanks and infantry, they attempted to break through near Sivers’k in the Donetsk region, but only ran into a Ukrainian ambush and kill zone. Their much ballyhooed summer offensive has been a complete dud.
In just a few months there has been a remarkable turnaround in this war, with Ukraine exposing to the world what a paper tiger Russia is–a mafia-klepto state riddled with graft, corruption, over-confidence, and backwards Soviet-era infrastructure and thinking.
Granular Details
With a lot of ingenuity, Ukraine’s military has come up with cheap but deadly drones,i along with effective tactics that are setting Russia afire. Their strikes are penetrating deep into Russian territory, thousands of miles away, bombing weapons manufacturing centers, then oil pipelines, depots and refineries, then transportation networks, creating a multiplier effect in damage.
All of this is paralyzing Russia’s ability to re-supply their front line, neutralizing their war effort. Russia for its part cannot stop these attacks. Because their country is so large, they simply can’t afford the defense systems to protect it all.
And it hasn’t stopped there. While international sanctions have taken their toll, the Ukrainians have managed to conduct cyber attacks on the Russian banking systems, rendering Russian citizens unable to access their ATMs and bank accounts. They recently hacked into Russia’s government proper, stealing 100 terabytes of data!iii
Ukraine has attacked Russia’s civilian airports as well as military airports, leaving people stranded all over the country. Their treasury is running out of money. India has stopped buying their oil. They can’t give out pension checks to veterans or civilians. For the first time since this war started, the Russian population is beginning to defy Putin’s draconian crackdown on protests, led by irate mothers demanding to know what’s happened to their sons and husbands.
Ukraine has been bombing Crimea as well, its energy depots and military bases.iv Ukraine’s drones have been devastating Russia’s Black Sea fleet there, forcing them out to sea at best, sometimes outright sinking thrm. They’ve also been attacking Putin’s pride and joy, the Kerch Strait Bridge connecting Crimea to Russia, seemingly just to show they can get to it.v They have otherwise restrained from destroying it altogether, to give the people of Crimea the opportunity to flee to Russia if they wish, before Ukraine takes that strategic province back again.
Ukraine has managed to hack into Russia’s newest submarine, stealing lots of valuable information.vi Russia has only one aircraft carrier—one—and it’s being scrapped.vii (The United States has 11). Even God has gotten into the act with a series of 12 large earthquakes off of Russia’s Pacific coast, causing tsunamis that damaged their Kamchatka nuclear base.viii
Ukraine has been able to penetrate deep into Russia to carry out assassinations of high-level military leaders and other personnel of their war machine.ix There is evidence Putin’s very life is in jeopardy as factions within the FSB and Kremlin leadership are threatening a coup.x Vladimir Putin himself has apparently had to flee a lot lately from safe locations he has always taken for granted.
Thus, the only “card” Putin has to play, just like his understudy Donald Trump here in the US, under the gun for his Epstein coverup distractions, is to threaten even more brutal crackdowns. That, and his usual threats of nuclear war now voiced through Dimitri Medvedev, a threat Putin knows will mean Russia will be wiped off the map.
Bottom line of all this. You need to know that Putin’s regime is coming apart at the seams, and you need to keep this uppermost in mind when it comes to watching this two man psy op unfold in Alaska this week.
Ambush 1.0
Earlier this year, before this amazing string of victories that have clearly turned the war in Ukraine’s favor, Zelenskyy sounded like he was eager for a peace deal too. Offering territorial concessions and some kind of a deal for the avaricious Trump to have access to the vast mineral reserves of eastern Ukraine, all he wanted in return (and in writing) was that Ukraine would get security guarantees from the West, that Putin couldn’t just re-group and attack them again.
So it was that in late February, Zelenskyy journeyed to Washington in the desperate hope that Trump would sign such an agreement. What he got instead was nothing less than an ambush in the Oval Office and a street gang beatdown. Trump, JD Vance and a motley crew of MAGA sycophants, ritually-humiliated the Ukrainian leader Illuminati-style, berating him for being supposedly ungrateful and disrespectful, trying to railroad him into conceding everything for nothing in return.
When he wouldn’t cave in, they humiliated him even further by telling him to leave–out a side door! American and global observers were shocked. They had never seen such a sacrificial, compliant US ally treated so shabbily before the world in recent memory.
What followed though was thrilling, and very much a God payback. Zelenskyy returned home to a hero’s welcome, having not given in to Trump’s bullying. He was also immediately surrounded by European nations which promised to give Ukraine the backing the US no longer was willing to give. They encouraged him to pull out all the stops, go on the offensive, giving him his long-sought for permission to attack Russia unreservedly, boldly, and without fear of Russia’s usual routine of threatening nuclear war.
Silence In The West
If all this is true, you’re probably asking yourself, Why aren’t we hearing about this here in the West? Well that’s a good question, why aren’t we? Part of the answer is that the United States just hasn’t covered much international news for decades now. The advent of news as entertainment has brought us to this point—preoccupation with the daily dumpster fire/soap opera known as Donald Trump.
But it is a curious question, and I’m wondering if part of it is Trump’s intimidation of our press, academic institutions, private law firms, even our state legislatures to torture congressional maps to ensure him a one-party state forever? Yet his shakedowns of these institutions, extorting bribes and self-serving concessions out of them, all completely un-Constitutional, is proceeding apace. This on top of all the destruction and chaos he has wrought this short year upon the world economy, international alliances et.al, with eccentric ambitions, incoherent tariff policies, and on and on.
So maybe mainstream media is indeed afraid to report on all the ill fortunes of Trump’s bromance partner, handler and mentor in evil Vladimir Putin, because they’re being blackmailed by the American President, no less! My best guess though, is that for over a century now, the West has unduly fallen for Russia’s Potemkin Village approach to pull the wool over our eyes about, well…everything!
Otherwise, I cannot explain why America media falls for this assumption that Russia must be winning this fight, when they clearly are not! They regularly tout a number like 70,000 Ukrainian deaths while Russian military deaths are about four times that!. Entire units have been mutining, killing their officers and surrendering to the Ukrainians.
As The World Turns
I’ve been saying for a long time that the key to understanding who Donald Trump is amidst all the multiple personalities that seemingly emanate out this man’s soul, is that of a long-time, long ago-recruited Russian Agent of Chaos. If there’s one common thread that ties together all the incoherent moves and policies this man embodies, it’s that they all serve to destroy the United States, right down to the ground.
I would call him a Russian Manchurian Candidate, but that would be to understate the degree of his betrayal. At least the fictional Manchurian Candidate was brainwashed by the Chinese. Donald Trump in contrast has chosen to reject the country of his birth and all that it stands for. This he has done willingly and joyfully, and instead embraced the autocratic, mobster values of Russia.
It is very clear to me that Donald Trump is a deeply disloyal, treasonous man who nevertheless demands absolute loyalty from everyone around him. It is a prime insight into his soul to remember that those years when he was hip deep in mob culture and laundering money for Russian oligarchs through his properties, he was simultaneously an FBI informant.
Covering both ends against the middle is the very definition of a rat in mob culture, but being that “scoundrel who loves being a scoundrel” is all part of his mystique. He is a man for sale to as much money Russia or any other corrupt nation or entity out there can stuff into his audacious pockets. Besides, Putin probably has plenty of pee tape kompromat on him, which could be motivating him even more, because in Russia, unlike this country, they are not afraid to play hardball and release damning evidence against someone if they don’t cooperate.
Vladimir Putin is a kindred soul to him, except that Putin is as much loath to play second fiddle to Trump as Trump resents Putin’s control over him. A lifelong, confirmed America-hater going back to his childhood, Putin is either so clueless or so perverse that he and the regressive intellectuals that surround him think that autocracy is the progressive choice for humanity going forward, not “We the people.” That’s for children and fools according to this most cynical, smirking, and deceitful of men.
But boy, does Donald Trump ever share in his sentiments! Yet, what with all his own troubles lately, Trump finds himself in the same precarious spotlight soul brother Vlad is in. Thus, “there’s a lot the two of us have in common in terms of jams and how to get out of them, and we thank you for giving your attention to this matter.”
But not too closely, lest you figure out the Alaska scam they’re up to now. Vladimir Putin’s approval rating, even among our blind-as-bats American public, runs at about 2%, so our own homegrown American super patriot has to tread very carefully here.
The two of them are reportedly on the phone together a lot lately, with Putin going on long-winded whines about how bad things are going, how much help he needs, and Donald sitting there frustrated he can’t get a word in edgewise, let alone dominate the conversation. Nevertheless, when my mind goes a misgiving, I wonder how many of Donald’s destructive, bonkers ideas are being whispered into his ear by Vlad.
But Vlad has been really embarrassing Donald a lot lately. You see, he’s a loser lately in terms of wars, and you know how embarrassed Donald Trump is about being associated with losers. Yet in his magnanimity, he first gave Vlad 50 days to “wind it all up” (i.e., obliterate Ukraine once and for all). Then he quickly dropped it down to 10 because alas, Vlad can’t get it over the finish line for all the developments cited above!
The two of them thus are up a creek together now, even though Vlad still “holds a lot of cards” over Donald. All the same, this represents a two-fer opportunity for our Patriotic American Leader. If he can bring about a “peace deal,” he can both save the hide of his Russian buddy, as well as reach out for that coveted Nobel prize! All he has to do is manipulate the situation to make it look like Zelenskyy is the stubborn holdout, demanding Russia give back all the land it stole, and not willing to “swap” for any Russian land themselves.
This in spite of the fact that Ukraine doesn’t want any Russian land; they just want their own land back. So, you can “bet your bippy” that their line is going to be that Zelenskyy is the one who still “has no cards,” even though he apparently is holding virtually all of them.
God, does that date me!xi
So let me go out on a limb here. If Zelenskyy is allowed to join in on this “drug deal” in Alaska (as John Bolton might put it)–if indeed Zelenskyy would even accept the invitation–it will be some kind of a variation on the first theme back in February. Call it “Ambush 2.0,” but this time instead of it being Trump and Vance (and Rubio and a vast cast of sycophants) ganging up on Vlod, it will be Trump and Putin.
But for my money, Volodomyr Zelenskyy has learned his lesson and may simply choose to sit it out and keep whomping away at Russia. It all depends upon how successful Trump and Putin will be at what they do best—flip the script, gaslight the world, and convince everyone that Ukraine is the one “holding back peace.” Yes, indeed. As the Great One always says about events clearly within his control, “we’ll such have to wait and see” how this plays out.
News Flash
On Tuesday morning at a press conference announcing his salvation of Washington, DC, Donald Trump yet once again blamed Vlodomyr Zelenskyy for the war. As he rambled on about how much suffering he had caused by not just rolling over and surrendering back when it first began, the worldview, if you will, of people like Don and Vlad were on full display if you picked it up. The world is characterized by “natural leaders” you see, who are entitled to bully anyone. If they dare to fight back, it just shows you how clueless they are about recognizing such, or “how the world really works.”
Therefore when a bloody, protracted war follows, it’s the victim who’s to blame for all the suffering. This is the actual logic of thugs like Trump and Putin, that you have no right to defend yourself. Is that why he’s intimidating law firms, so they don’t dare defend anyone the Dear Leader attacks?
News Flash #2
At that same press conference, Donald Trump made allusion several times to his Friday meeting in Russia, refusing to say it will be in Alaska. All this week on Russian state TV they are bellyaching about the terrible deal a Czar made in selling Alaska to the US in 1867.
At the same time, Trump has been “talking up” a “land swap” between Russia and Ukraine, when Ukraine wants no land from Russia. It wants Russia off of its land. Is this all part of Trump conditioning Americans to get ready for him to give away Alaska for, what? Some secret payoff he’s going to pocket?
It’s very clear these two dictators belong to the Club of Audacious Demands. They figure, “Might as well try. You never know if the rubes will be stupid enough to give in to it.”
News Flash #3
Fresh on the eve of this Trump-Putin psy op, Russia’s position is more precarious than ever. A panicked Putin will have to strain to put on a brave act, though that’s what these two audacious fakes do best.
P.S. The Breath-Taking, In-Your-Face Arrogance of Donald Trump
I know this is very subjective, but for what it’s worth, as I awoke Tuesday morning, I felt like I was overhearing a conversation between Donald Trump and a high-level government employee wherein the latter was trying to explain to the former why he can’t do something. Since I’ve heard all kinds of such conversations with this man before, it didn’t seem abnormal to me at first. But as it went on, I realized he was talking to a Pentagon officer, and Trump wanted access to highly-classified information. Just before meeting with Putin.
On the news this morning though, the dumpster fire du jour is Trump federalizing Washington, DC due to an unprecedented crime surge. There is of course, no such thing going on. In fact, crime is down this year in this nonetheless perennially crime-ridden city.
So of course, the question on the mind of people given to suspicions of everything this man does is, Why now, and why this way? Plus, he cited other cities like Chicago and Los Angeles who he’s recently threatened “are next.” Absent from our Caped Crusader’s list though, are the most crime-ridden cities in America, all of which happen to be in red states.
Add to that, the fact that recent lawless federal raids in Los Angeles have been dubbed by ICE “Operation Trojan Horse,” named after the famous story of how the ancient Greeks snuck their troops into Troy through a huge hollowed-out horse:
“Metaphorically, a ‘Trojan horse’ has come to mean any trick or stratagem that causes a target to invite a foe into a securely protected bastion or place. A malicious computer program that tricks users into willingly running it is also called a ‘Trojan horse’ simply a ‘Trojan’.” xii
Yeah, color me suspicious. As it always is with this supremely devious man, the question isn’t always just what he’s up to but, What are his real motives? Lest we forget: these photos from his first administration:
The day after he fired James Comey as FBI Director, he welcomed the Russian ambassador and Foreign Minister into the White House to yuck it up over “that whack job.” American media, witnesses and interpreters were kept out, Tass alone was let in.
At that meeting Trump, who even looks like a Soviet commissar here, gave to them classified information about a mole the US government had at the highest levels of Kremlin power. Russian TV later showed footage of men walking into a meeting with this man, throwing a black bag over his head and disappearing him forever.

Or this one, Dec.9, 2019, just days before he was impeached. With that perennial “cat that ate the canary” grin on his face for these kinds of official photos. On this occasion it was he who reportedly requested that Lavrov stand behind him for this shot, because in-your-face audacity is this man’s brand.

Notes:
i Their interceptor drones for instance, cost about $1000 a piece, but they can shoot down Iran’s Shahed attack drones that cost Russia $30,000 apiece. Do the math.
