Trump Insinuates He’s A Greater Mobster Than Al Capone
Speaking of the Orange Jesus, maybe we can take heart that being a false messiah is an improvement over being a mob boss.
In a recent rally with his zombie followers, Donald Trump implied that he was a greater mobster than Al Capone:
Aside from the terroristic way he pointed at an audience member when he said, “If he invited you for dinner…”, you’ll notice that he insinuates himself to be a four-times greater mobster, using vague, equivocal language which he is famous for. In sworn testimony before Congress, Michael Cohen has stated that Trump uses this technique to give out orders to his minions:
“He doesn’t give you questions, he doesn’t give you orders. He speaks in a code. And I understand the code because I’ve been around him for a decade.”[1]
Cohen explained that Trump works this way because by vaguely suggesting something, it’s harder to convict him in a court of law. That way he can always say, “I never gave anyone an order,” while all those that work for him understand exactly what he wants them to do, and put themselves in legal jeopardy for it.
It is a classical trait of mob bosses to speak in code, to split hairs and resort to legal technicalities to evade the law (e.g., “take the 5th”). This is something he learned from his long-time mentor and attorney Roy Cohn[2]—how to abuse the judicial system and clog up the courts with frivolous filings designed to “Delay, Delay, Delay” and just wear everyone out.
Another Prophetic Clue—Dan 8:23
Wearing out the saints and everyone else trying to do the right thing is of course, another character clue about the coming Antichrist (Dan 7:25). “He shall wear out the saints of the Most High.” Sheesh, some people can wear out Mother Teresa.
Yet another is found in Daniel 8:23. Donald Trump may not be an impressive intellect, neither is he interested in policy or even ideologies, beyond their utilitarian value in conning people. He finds such things to be boring. What excites him is the thrill of de-stabilizing the minds of the rubes around him, gleefully watching them squirm, and wrestling with their conscience or sense of reality. I mean like, this guy is such a Gemini.
This technique of speaking obliquely or vaguely he resorts to a lot. He seems to love to “mess with people’s minds.” Another recent example of this was when fanboy enabler Sean Hannity threw a softball to him, to help him get out of a jam. Trump had been recently making some outrageous statements about being a dictator if he had the chance, so Hannity gave him a chance to backtrack.
Note that what Trump said, “Only on Day One.” This can be taken in two different ways. Either, “I’ll only be a dictator for one day” (fat chance of that), or “I’ll be a dictator from Day One,” as if he were making a vow to be so.
This fulfills another characteristic of the Antichrist as I interpret it, that he will “understand dark sentences”:
“And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.” (Dan 8:23)
The Hebrew word there for “dark sentences” is transliterated as chiduth— “riddles, mysteries, enigmas.” Various Bible translations render the Hebrew of this verse in a wide range of connotations such as, “understanding riddles,” “hidden things,” “sinister schemes;” “skilled in intrigue (skullduggery),” “intrigue and cunning,” “dark trickery;” “a master trickster (like his best friend Roger Stone),” “ a “master of deception,” etc.
Talking in vague and oblique ways can of course be included under these depictions. You know, like a mob boss.
Why Stop There?
If you’d like a third example of devious insinuation on his part, why not just go for broke with the oldest symbol for Satan in the Bible (Gen 3:1)? Consider how much he peddles this poem about inviting a snake into your house. He claims it was about immigration, but you know who he’s talking about.
Seriously. It’s almost as if he’s crying out to be stopped!
I honestly am left speechless at so many levels by all this. What magic does this vile man have over people’s minds, especially purported Christians? At least we can’t say we weren’t warned or that God hasn’t made it easy enough for us (II Thess 2:11; Rev 21:8).
One last thing. A great little movie here about the tender mercies of the Trumpian touch:

[2] Roy Cohn, the one-time red-baiting chief counsel of Senator Joe McCarthy in the 1950s, became the go-to attorney for dirty tricks for the likes of Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno, John Gotti, the infamous Studio 54 and various celebrities. Trump and Roger Stone, the most famous Republican dirty trickster of all time, were personally and simultaneously mentored by Cohn. Yet when Cohn was dying of AIDS, Trump never stopped to see him. “Donald’s got ice water in his veins,” was Cohn’s last view of him. Must have been well-taught.
