Red Caesar’s Brush With Death

 Was Thomas Matthew Crooks merely taking a page out of the MAGA playbook, that sometimes the “Tree of Liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants”?

In the middle of watching all the gaslighting and evidence of mass delusion that was the Republican National Convention last week, the thought came to me to check out the traffic statistics on this, mine website. I was stunned to find out that daily visitors had jumped up to 28 times normal in the days after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump!
 
I naturally wanted to conclude this was because the world was waiting with bated breath to get my “take” on the incident. I also assumed it couldn’t be over hearing my thoughts on this utterly incoherent week in Milwaukee and all its contradictory messaging.
 
Imagine how deflated I was to learn from my invaluable tech guy that it was actually due to a bump in advertising our GoFundMe page this past week! I didn’t think that could be the answer, considering how stone cold broke our budget has been lately.
 
Actually, writing these articles is something of a therapy for me, to keep me sane. Either that or they sometimes just make me all the more depressed. But as the old Rushbo put it, I soldier on. And so, here is my “take” on recent events, in response to no particular demand for it.[1]

Prophecies, Prophecies

When Trump was shot at and got grazed in the ear, it’s possible many were wondering if this was in fulfillment of a prophecy about the Antichrist—that he will at some point suffer a serious wound to the head but will miraculously recover, maybe even from death (Rev 13:3). The mystery clue in view here is in reference to a “deadly wound” to one of the seven heads of this Antichrist Beast found in Revelation 13:3:
 
³ And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
 
A lot of commentators have speculated whether this is an assassination attempt upon this character, specifically a gunshot to the head from which he miraculously recovers. Some versions suggest it even kills him, after which he rises from the dead! To make it even more spectacular, some have suggested that at that point, he becomes personally possessed by Satan himself, undergoes a radical change of personality from an impulsive, incompetent, petulant deceiver to a smooth and brilliant one. (Boy, will that be a sight to behold!)
 
Truth be told, I’m inclined to believe this whole kit ‘n kaboodle[2] theory could be accurate, yet last week would not be its fulfillment. Getting your ear grazed in spite of the intentions of a would-be assassin I would not describe as deadly. Also, the next verse says he will get his power from the dragon (i.e., Satan), for 42 months, which sounds like it happens during the Great Tribulation period. For reasons I won’t go into now, I don’t think that will start until the spring of 2027, meaning that if Trump forces his way back into power,[3] that will give him and his army of 50,000 Project 2025 “Red Caesar” political stooges a couple of years to inject plenty of chaos and incompetence into the US government.[4]
 
By that time, fanatical Israel will have offended the entire planet enough to bring the nations to the brink of World War III (Rev 6). Someone close to Trump, maybe a military aide who realizes this impulsive man could end up pushing that button, tries another shot to the head, maybe this time up close, and the prophecy is fulfilled. Maybe.
 
But I’m just riffing, indulging the wild speculations of my fevered, Bible prophecy imagination. No one really knows, and we’ll just have to wait and see. You should keep in mind though that there may be a more sound interpretation as well, having to do with the seven heads as seven world empires in history, the United States being the last with the Antichrist being “an eighth king” arising out of them.
 
By the rules of Biblical hermeneutics, this would actually be the more accurate theory. It is all a part of Revelation 17, which I characterize in American Babylon as perhaps the most mysterious and difficult chapter in the entire Bible. You’ll just have to get a copy to get my thoughts on it all, unless at some point I spill the beans[5] by talking about it in some future article. 

What The Boss Wants, The Boss Gets…

One thing for certain to come out of this incident is a review of Secret Service protocols, which at least on a cursory look, failed to adequately protect Trump. In fact, given that they knew there was a “suspicious person alert” in play, just allowing him up on stage at all until that was cleared up would be a failure of normal standards. I can only imagine the firestorm of speculation online that followed in MAGA world about a “Deep State” plot to have him killed.

To such I would suggest that, as in all things about Donald Trump, nothing is “normal.” Word has it that the Secret Service at his rallies, at least until now, have looked more like campaign security than highly-trained federal agents. Was that the result of carelessness on their part, or because Trump insisted on a lax environment? If “The Boss” wants things done a certain way, then it’s going to be that way. Trump famously has been so blasé about his own safety, always broadcasting his own recklessness at everything, that at the January 6 Insurrection rally he ordered the Secret Service to “take the fucking mags away” (the gun-detecting magnetometers), because “they’re not here to hurt me.”

What I can say is that it is Secret Service protocol to make sure a protectee stays down, once an assassination attempt is underway. For him to force his way up and out of the human blanket covering him at that point, is not only contrary to ordinary procedure, but also risks the lives of those protecting him. It’s almost like inviting a second shot if there’s still an active shooter.

I will concede that it could be he was in a state of shock and not thinking rationally. On the other hand, I have a hard time believing that he did not recognize what a chance it was for an iconic photo of him in defiance of Them, and he wasn’t about to stay down. I assume this too because he did it again, just as they were shoving him into a limousine.

Was Our Young, Would-Be Assassin Two-Fold More The Child of Trump Than He Himself?

We don’t know much about this 20-year old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks. A classmate told NBC that he was “bullied almost every day” in high school. Many have said that he was bright, quiet and polite but a loner. Classmates remember him defending conservative thinking, not usually the road to teen popularity. His town New Bethel is politically divided. In fact, his own family was divided. His father is a Republican, his mother a Democrat.
 
We also know that Donald Trump’s own 2016 campaign had targeted his family for recruitment since they were gun enthusiasts. In fact, they had 20 firearms stored in their modest home! (How many can you shoot at one time?) This in spite of the fact that both parents are licensed psychological counselors! Only in MAGA world would a psychological counselor have 20 firearms.
 
As an ironic aside, Trump’s new Veep pick, JD Vance in his acceptance speech lauded his grandmom “Mamaw” who “loved the Lord…but she also loved the F word. I’m not kidding. She could make a sailor blush.” You know, that “ornery-old-cuss-but-heart-of-gold” patriot type that Trump world finds so endearing? He said that after she died, they found 19 loaded firearms hidden around her house! Just in case any of those salt of the earth neighbors of hers decided to do a home invasion, I guess. This MAGA world’s a fun bunch.
 
We also know that the rifle Crooks used that he stole from his father’s collection was the gun of choice of school shooters. The AR-15 is famous for its high-velocity firepower and the lethality of its bullets, yet a model assiduously defended by the MAGA movement, necessary for the coming apocalyptic showdown with all those Communists overrunning Washington. If the bullet that grazed Trump’s ear had been a few inches away, he would not only have instantly died, but his head could have literally exploded.
 
We also know that Crooks had registered as a Republican when he became eligible to vote, taking after his father. Why then, would he want to kill the head of the party and the hero of MAGA world?

Theories, Theories

Some have speculated that he had all the markers of a school shooter this fall, that he wanted his 15 minutes of fame, to go out in a “blaze of glory” for all those years of bullying, and yet changed his mind when he heard such a famous man was coming within 50 miles of his own backyard. We also heard he had been doing internet research on the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago, so he may not have been motivated by partisan politics at all.
 
Others have wondered whether he had concluded Trump was not radical enough, that he was “going soft,” that he was starting to resent the pressure from his right, that they were starting to make him look bad, that awareness of the actual game plan of Heritage’s radical Agenda 2025 was embarrassing him and threatening his popularity with the public, etc.
 
There’s also a third option, one I favor, that Donald Trump for some strange reason, came across as that prototypical bully Crooks had been pushed around by all his life. Considering how deep a thinker he was, maybe he had thought through all those axioms so popular with right-wing “real” America, such as, “Sometimes the Tree of Liberty needs to be watered with the blood of tyrants,” or that “the Colt .45 was ‘The Great Equalizer’” that brought “Frontier Justice” to the Old West. It didn’t matter if that “bad guy” was twice your size.[6] With a gun that can blow a hole through a car engine, you have a fighting chance.

You know, all that vigilante stuff Trump’s base is so enamored of? Only in the fevered imaginations of armed-to-the-teeth MAGA world are all those pencil-necked libtards simultaneously as big as Goliath himself. But who expects consistency or sense from this army of bullies and back stabbers (II Tim 3:3), trying to provoke a rematch of the Civil War?
 
What part of creating such an atmosphere was Trump not guilty of? Who has spent all his adult life breaking and bending all rules of civility to beat the competition more than Donald Trump? Who’s been more obsessed with celebrity and fame, and willing to do anything to get it more than him? Who has used the most censorious, belittling, inflammatory language to insult people, divide the country, and stir up and incite his followers to violence to win an argument more than Donald Trump?
 
In just one small example of this endless provocation, even as President, one of his crazed fanatical followers, the ironically-named Caesar Seyoc was caught going around leaving bombs in the mailboxes of the top tier leaders of the Democratic Party. When he was caught and arrested, Donald Trump was mightily displeased, not because the man was attempting assassination, but because the story broke up the momentum of his “caravan” demagoguery in the lead up to the 2018 election. We know that because he said so.
 
Did Trump bring all living Presidents to the White House for a show of national unity? Were there calls for him then to tone down his hysterical lies and distortions? Of course not, except yet again by all those democracy-hating, far, far left Communist/fascist/globalists that are right on the edge of taking over the earth and instituting woke world government.

Back when I was a young man, Crosby, Stills and Nash had a song about sowing and reaping called “Teach Your Children Well.” From the beginning of the United States, everyone understood that one of the great roles of a President is to serve as a role model to the children of America.
 
So you tell me you Trump humpers, what lessons, what “takeaways” are your children getting in the Age of Trump? Don’t be surprised if your children turn out to be from the Village of the Damned.

MAGA America Does Some Serious Soul-Searching and Sparks A Repentance Revival

I’m only kidding. If only Crooks had been a registered Democrat, there would have been such a hue and cry that Trump’s old mentor, red-baiter Roy Cohn would have come back from the dead himself to lead the Red Dawn resistance.[7] Maybe Alex Jones would put out a podcast from a bunker somewhere, claiming without evidence that Crooks was a victim of MK-Ultra mind control.
 
But of course, since their default mode is blaming Democrats for everything, they decided to plow ahead with that anyway, brow-beating, gaslighting and guilt-mongering, which basically sums up the Republican National Convention the following week.
 
Trump, the eternal double-talker, perpetually self-deluded but possibly temporarily in shock, floated out the idea that now things would be different, that he was tearing up his convention speech and going to talk about “national unity,” a “President for all of America, not just half,” etc. It lasted about a week:

“You know, I was supposed to be nice. They say something happened to me when I got shot, I became nice…And when you’re dealing with these people – they’re very dangerous people. When you’re dealing with them, you can’t be too nice. You really can’t be so if you don’t mind, I’m not going to be nice.” 

No, I do mind, but since when did that ever matter to you? But this was all the bait the media needed to delude themselves that this was just another normal election. Even Joe Biden (rightfully) chimed in with a call to “turn the temperature down.” MAGA cheezehead “thought leaders” of course responded with a helpful, “If only Joe Biden and the Democrats hadn’t indulged in hysterical talk of fascism, Hitler and the end of democracy, this wouldn’t have happened!”
 
Sure. Democrats had the gall to quote from Trump’s own speeches and the myriad of right-wing institutions egging on his enormous ambitions to have a Putin-style Orwellian dictatorship to make their case. Real dirty pool there. This is what passes for responsible analysis now in wussified, doormat America, a so-called free people who don’t have the right to tell the truth, while a confirmed liar can make up the most wild, slanderous accusations, say the most incendiary things, make the baldest of threats, and we’re not allowed to say, “he’s the problem.”
 
Don’t believe me?
 
I said to Charlie and I said to Michael: Listen, we don’t need votes. We got more votes than anybody’s ever had. We need to watch the vote. We need to guard the vote. We need to stop the steal. We don’t need votes. We have to stop — focus, don’t worry about votes. We’ve got all the votes. I was in Florida yesterday — every house has a Trump sign. Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. We have to guard the vote.
 
This is how this con man evaluates polls—looking at yard signs! What he’s really channeling is former train robber Stalin’s old axiom that it’s not who votes but “who will count the votes, and how.”
 
In other words, it doesn’t matter how much of a margin the Democrats rack up, it doesn’t matter if they trounce Trump. They will not be allowed to win another election, period, because, like Stalin, he’s a criminal personality who cheats at everything he does.

And it starts with this upcoming one. They have a plan in place to muddy up the waters, gum up the process and throw the whole election into chaos.  In fact, they have several.

This is the meaning of the Project 2025 plan, to turn America into an “illiberal democracy,” a contradiction in terms, where “consent of the governed” no longer matters. You know, just like Putin has, where news is censored, elections are truly rigged, any serious rival candidates are shot in the street, pushed out of windows or die in penal colonies, but a “family friendly Church” supports the Dear Leader. All in the Name of God no less (Jn 16:2).

The Queen May Not Be Amused, But God Is

The Lord God Almighty is pictured in the Scriptures—remember the Scriptures?—in the last days as both extremely angry and extremely disdainful. To wit, Psalm 2:
 
2 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
² The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
³ Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
⁴ He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
⁵ Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
 
It also says a number of times that the Antichrist/Beast/Little Horn shall “prosper in all that he does”:
 
-Daniel 11:36—”And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.”
-Daniel 8:12—“[the little horn] cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced and prospered.”[8]
-Daniel 8:24—”And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.”
-Daniel 8:25—”And through his policy also he shall cause craft [deception, dirty tricks] to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.”
 
We have seen an awful lot come about since June 27—the debate, the assassination attempt, the RNC hoedown and choice of Vance, Joe Biden stepping aside, Kamala Harris taking his place, and the righteous snubbing of Benjamin Netanyahu engineering a fourth Congressional address.  In spite of the groundswell for Kamala Harris, Donald Trump could still muscle his way back into power, or steal this election outright in the name of, what else?—Stopping the Steal!
 
As terrifying as that prospect may be, we could see an eventual Fatal Attraction between the fascist forces of the US and Israel colluding together, eventuating in Israel depending on a vain Prickly Pear for their protection (Isa 10:20). It will kind of be like He Who sits in the Heavens saying, “Oh, so you don’t like My Messiah? Here, try this jackass.” Beware of what you pray for.
