Vladimir Putin Wins Another US Election, Humiliates Donald Trump
Will Trump now finally “get religion” and decide he may just need a functioning empire after all to rule over? Don’t hold your breath.
Vladimir Putin must be sitting on top of the world right now, thinking he may have actually gotten a “two-fer” with the election of “Our Man in Washington,” Donald Trump. Not only has Russia’s investment in him as a traitorous Agent of Chaos been paying off deliriously for the Russians since 1987, Trump’s re-election against all odds makes it possible that Putin may have succeeded in not only destroying democracy in America, but is looking at the destruction of the United States and its US Dollar-based financial and military empire entirely.
The implications of the second part of this two-fer is profound. The United States is not only a globe-straddling military power, but heretofore the head of the de facto world financial system. Since Bretton Woods and the end of World War II, the US dollar has been the world’s reserve currency. Absent a one-world currency, the entire earth has since then used the US dollar to settle debts, and has done it through SWIFT, an American-based clearance network as well.
This has given the United States a tremendous advantage over every other nation, and there are many times and ways we’ve abused that power.[i] I detail a lot of them in my book, American Babylon, American Antichrist. It is the stuff of volumes of critique of American foreign policy for a long time, a policy that is at its best, schizophrenic.

On the one hand, American planners have always wanted to spread democracy and an American-based global trade system to establish more stable relations among the nations of the world. On the other, wealthy and greedy neo-Tory forces in America have always wanted to find ways to better loot the wealth and suppress the dreams of smaller nations (let alone smaller citizens—James 5:1-6).
The hostility of Trump’s incoming “America First” crew to the first objective along with their lack of apology toward the second,[ii] is not going to make this situation any better, but finally push it over the edge. Trump’s latest imperial-esque threats to annex Greenland and Panama only verify the kind of arrogance this man embodies. This of course, plays right into the hands of Putin’s pet project, the BRICS economic alliance of nations, disgruntled with all the hypocrises of our sanctions-happy, proxy war abuse of the world.
If Trump makes good on his threat to deploy just two of his economic policies—tariffs, and “bloody mass deportations” of illegals and migrants—they alone will crash the US economy.[iii] Mexico’s Sheinbaum is now threatening retaliatory tariffs and having trade talks with the Chinese, no less. Trump’s “show ‘em who’s boss” style may drive Mexico into BRICS’ arms and destroy a near $200 billion trade relationship with the US alone. Over half of all the produce Americans eat is grown in Mexico. Food prices, which MAGA world has bitched about endlessly the last four years, will skyrocket, because God is not mocked.
Having added four more nations to the network at the Kazan Conference in October,[iv] BRICS is only bound to grow as any positive American influence in the world continues to decline under Trump. Even though America will become far “stronger” for a while under him (Rev 13:4), it will be short-lived. I believe by the end of this decade, we will be completely destroyed (Rev 16:19; 18:21; Jer 51:62).
Thus far, this alternative “global South” alliance has only developed a (quite ingenious) financial clearing house system within its member states, by-passing the Western-based SWIFT system. Putin tried to unveil his plans for an outright alternative currency at Kazan but resistance from India and Brazil put that on hold. Trump, in his usual bullying, over-reaction style, has declared that any BRICS nation challenging the dollar system will be hit with a “100% tariff,” just what an increasingly-resentful world wants to hear of course.
The Panic Sets In
Talk about an earthquake among the Western financial elites, especially with the election of Trump now![v] When Muamar Kaddafi sought to create a pan-African currency to rival the Euro, he was gone, gone, gone within a year. No one messes with the “City of London/New York based financial pyramid, at least until now.[vi]
So, if there was competition for “world dominance” before between the United States and its long-standing nemesis Russia, its future potential has been ratcheted up by magnitudes now. While Christians have for generations assumed the coming of a one-world government with a one-world currency that the Antichrist will rule over, the fact is, we’ve had a “one-world currency” for decades now. It’s called the US dollar. Knowledgeable people have known this, but prophecy people have never taken it seriously, because that would make their precious “redeemer nation” the United States, the “seat of the Antichrist” in the last days.
And that just can’t be. This is one of the main points of my book, American Babylon, American Antichrist, and why you still ought to get yourself a copy. It will help you re-orient your basic consciousness of the last days.
As to the outcome of this new complication, based on the fact that I interpret the judgment on “economic Babylon” found in Revelation 18 to be describing New York City, the financial and media capital of the United States, I’m assuming the dollar will stave off the BRICS challenge to the very end. But needless to say, the stakes are high, the volatility is intense, and the drama will be great if the prophetic scenario laid out in the Bible is any indication.
Biden and NATO Attempt To Trump-Proof Ukraine
Knowing Trump’s admiration for Putin and long-standing connection to Russia,[vii] it may be that the Biden administration and NATO have been trying to “Trump-proof” Ukraine from a total giveaway to Russia when he comes in. They did not, however, count on three sudden developments in this fast-paced acceleration into the last days.
One is the sudden and unexpected fall of Syria into the hands of HTS head chopper Islamists, a gamechanger of epic proportions. Indeed, December 8, 2024 will go down in history as the day Israel’s imminent demise completely turned around, and has now poised them to do what they do best—bomb and obliterate lives throughout the region. It has resulted in such a sea change in the tilt of power lines between East and West as to nearly render this very article obsolete! It’s a situation that definitely deserves an article of its own.
The second is the military edge that Russia has been demonstrating against Ukraine, especially since the end of the BRICS conference in late October. In spite of all their valiant effort, the reality has been that the Ukrainians have been in a war of attrition with Russia since at least late 2022, and one they are now incapable of winning.
You can blame some of that on 11 months of the Republican Party equivocating on funding them, “lest Joe Biden get a victory” God forbid. But that delay gave Putin enough time to rebuild the Russian military, and the Ukrainians simply don’t have the manpower now. Russia has destroyed about 80% of Ukraine’s ability to generate heat and electricity, and winter has already descended there.
I personally have rarely seen a more inspirational phenomenon in my life than the reaction of this little David to the invasion by the Russian Goliath in 2022. The thought of Ukraine being abandoned after all the suffering and sacrifice they have endured grieves me no end. Even the Russians have noted what fierce and worthy opponents they are, men who will fight to the death rather than surrender.
It is painful to me to watch such a valiant effort end with the kinds of reckless provocations Ukraine, encouraged by the West, is carrying out,[viii] All the same, Ukraine’s war effort has struck me as somewhat romantic in nature at times,[ix] and slow to face the reality of what they are now facing. This, perhaps is partly explained by the West goading them on in a “go-for-broke” effort to beat Putin.[x] And ever since the election, things have been rapidly changing in this arena.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, the Biden administration and NATO did something mystifying to many observers, given the reality of an incoming Trump administration and the current odds Ukraine is facing—they okayed a US ATACKM missile launch upon the Russian military supply city of Bryansk. This came on the 1,000th day of this war, and I cannot wonder if it was a symbolic decision by Western secret society-influenced circles to “make a statement,” that doubles as a superstitious gesture amounting to little more than a witch craft ritual.[xi]
It was followed the next day by a British Storm Shadow missile attack. Putin had warned that an attack on Russian land with these new levels of weaponry would be considered an act of escalation by NATO, because he knew they could not be deployed by Ukraine without Western guidance systems, which the Ukrainians don’t control.
Two days later in response, Putin demonstrated a new intermediate-range missile capable of reaching Europe called the Oreshnik. It travels at Mach 10 speed (ten times the speed of sound) and can carry 36 warheads including nuclear! Its impact, like the effect of a meteor, is alone outsized. It rained down on a legendary Ukrainian aerospace facility without warheads, yet the West is only showing misleading pictures.
Putin did this after repeated warnings to NATO not to strike Russia with this new level of lethality, but they did it anyhow.[xii] He claims the impact of its conventional warheads alone would have the equivalency of a nuclear bomb. The Oreshnik is so fast that it’s impossible to defend against. The closest thing the US has in its arsenal is one of about Mach 3.
Amazingly, the West blew this off. After the demonstration, Putin ordered full production of this missile, but apparently the West thought he only has a few of these operational, so they were willing to take the risk. But they are nuclear-capable, and can reach London in 18 minutes, Paris in 15.
The point of all this reckless sabre-rattling, is that both sides have been threatening nuclear war to each other! The fall of Syria may have given the edge to the West now in this game of chicken, but the atmosphere lately has been reckless to say the least.
Is Trump “Getting Religion”?
Which brings us to our third development, that Donald Trump’s admiration of Vladimir Putin is conveniently turning into an enmity.
Trying to divine the incoherent and contradictory thinking of Donald Trump is always a challenge, and the signals he is sending through his cabinet picks is no exception. Elon Musk, who has emerged as Trump’s virtual Vice-President since the election, has bragged that he has been in constant communication with Putin the last two years, and has probably been acting as a courier for the two, just like Rand Paul once did. All this avoidance of standard governmental practices is highly illegal of course, but a long-standing Republican specialty.[xiii]
Throughout the campaign, Trump bragged that he was going to solve the Ukraine war, “even before he was inaugurated.” All he would have to do is get on the phone with Putin and Zelensky and the legendary Donald charm would do the rest.
Unfortunately, it didn’t play out that way. It is customary for major heads of state to call a President-elect to congratulate them within a day. Putin waited, and when he did call, Trump apparently tried to convince him to back off on his offensive until after the Inauguration, and then they’ll make a deal, and even made a veiled threat to him. The call went so badly that Russia later denied it even happened!
Later that week, Russian state-sponsored TV ran nude photos of Melania Trump taken on board Trump’s plane in their dating days accompanied by open mockery by the commentators! Nothing like that can ever happen in Russia without Putin’s full approval, and probably initiative. You could hardly think of a greater insult than that, or why such a provocative thing would be done if it wasn’t an intentional signal.
Just days later, a high Russian official declared that Donald Trump won the US election with the help of “certain forces to which he has corresponding obligations”! He was referring to Russia itself of course, and is one more buried footnote in an election that stunk to high heaven if you ask me.
Through these moves, Putin was letting Trump know, and publicly to the world just to underscore it, “who’s the boss here? Who’s the alpha male?” Trump may have been eager to move into the autocrat club for decades now, but this certainly illustrates the “king on the mountain” mentality of such people, a kind of “there’s only room for one sheriff in this town.”
Please forgive the overworked cliches, but this “dancing in the end zone” may have been premature, considering Russia’s new-found setbacks with the fall of Syria, and eventually a fatal mistake (Eze 38:18-23). If there are two things The Donald doesn’t like, it’s being humiliated, and being told he’s not top dog.
This disillusionment with whatever infatuation with Putin has been there, is exactly what I’ve been expecting for years now. Once Trump consolidates power as he has now, without those pesky “guardrail” officials around him like the first time, he will transition out of being a Russian Agent of Chaos to becoming a deadly rival of Putin (Dan 11:44), Kim Jong Un, and any of a number of other dictators he’s expressed a certain fondness for, and rapport with.
Not to mention the motivation of getting out from under the “Russia, Russia” cloud forever. Just like all those stunningly-serious criminal cases against him, whatever kompromat Putin may have on him will now magically disappear into the dustbin of history, as long as he can reinvent himself as the West’s savior, just like the Bible predicts (Rev 6:2). With all his firepower (Rev 13:4), with his weapons of “astounding devastation (Dan 8:24 NIV),” truly at some point “all the world will worship the beast (13:4). Which is not to say literal worship, as it’s sometimes interpreted. That’s reserved to the sycophantic doormats that truly believe in him. For the rest of the world, they will truly (and rightly) fear him, just the way he likes it.
That’s A Lot of Speculation
Yes, it may be. But there is some indication that Trump may be willing to step into the traditional role of President as a defender and expander of the American-Israeli Beast Empire (Dan 7:7,19) which, since Syria, is poised to be the world’s lone superpower again. Recently, Trump’s national security pick Mike Waltz met with his Biden administration counterpart Jake Sullivan, and came away with glowing words about how both sides see this picture. “We are one team…working hand in glove” in continuing the same American foreign policy stances, etc!
My oh my! What bi-partisanship is possible when it comes to defending Israel’s right to complete its Mid-East conquest from the Mediterranean to the Euphrates! It almost reminds me of how Pilate and Herod for once put their enmity aside when it came to Jesus Christ’s fate (Lu 23:12).[xiv] Now instead of being on life support and finally, finally, being forced to come to the table and recognize a Palestinian state, Israel is in the driver’s seat again. It will probably be granted even greater control over domestic US policy as well, meaning suppression and threats against anyone even breathing a word of sympathy for the growing list of Israeli war crimes victims.
Mixed Signals
Trump’s cabinet, ambassadorships and other nominees seemed to be following his typical “middle finger to America” style—the usual stable of hacks, stooges, yes-men, incompetents, Zionists, neo-con hawks, billionaires, donors, family members, subversives to their own agencies, and those who look good on television. This is because Donald Trump loves to spread chaos and disorder, Illuminati-style, wherever he goes, because the worse things get, the more he can justify grabbing dictatorial power.
Some of his picks though, seem to be at least somewhat qualified to do the jobs they’re being assigned to. While this may be wishful thinking on my part (or perhaps just a lack of diligence in keeping up with everything), it may be an indication that Donald Trump is beginning to realize that nihilism is not a plan. If he indeed wants to rule over America like an emperor, he’s going to have to have an empire and subjects doing his bidding. (Maybe this is why he has been ruminating about annexing Greenland and Panama lately, and threatening to make Canada the 51st state). No more room for looking upon half of the country as “poison” and “vermin” that must be purged from the body politic. It’s going to take hard work and a quick study to make sure that he can keep this dying, American imperial Babylon afloat, global financial system and all.
It is never a good bet that a rush, on-the-job training regimen is the right way to grow into something you’re not prepared or tested for, but I guess it’s better than nothing. The idea that Donald Trump of all people, is now the best, last hope for an empire dying of its own decadence is a pretty bruised reed to lean upon. But from his perspective, it may be the only option he, and we, have at his disposal.
Like I said at the beginning, his Presidential quest may have started out as a joke, but he and the long-standing Republican agenda of sadism has become the proverbial dog who caught the speeding car. That this is the American people’s best hope going forward is some pretty thin ice to skate upon, but we’ll see if he finally tries to, “rise to the occasion.” I’m not going to hold my breath, but hey MAGA America, you can always pray God will guide him to restrain his “creative destruction” instincts, whatever that means.
