Why the World Is Not Buying Israel’s Latest Hegelian Exercise
Hegelian Exercise: Benjamin Netanyahu and his right-wing fellow planners apparently wanted the Hamas terror attack to happen, and that for a number of reasons.

“I think it’s imperative that Israel, like the United States after 9/11, instead of saying ‘we must exact our revenge’, to sit there and say, ‘how did this happen? Why did this happen and how can we prevent it from happening again?’ But in order to answer that question, you have to define the problem. Israel doesn’t want to have that discussion, Netanyahu doesn’t want to have that discussion, because the answer is: he is the problem. The right-wing policies of Israel is the problem. Zionism might be the problem.”
“So to prevent this, you have to go into these extremist rallying cries. ‘It’s us against them, good versus evil’, when you have to demonize the enemy, because you can’t allow people to reflect on the potential legitimacy of what they did on October 7, you must turn them into the devil incarnate: al-Qaeda, ISIS, terrorists, etc. And that’s what Netanyahu’s doing now. At the end of the day though, it’s going to fail because again: you can’t solve a problem if you haven’t properly defined it.” [Emphasis added]
-Scott Ritter, “Israel Failing in Global PR Campaign to Demonize Hamas”[1]
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
-Prov 4:7
As news of the deadly Hamas terror attack on Israel began to filter out, the world’s slowness to react the way Israel expected and demanded, baffled and alarmed many of their supporters. Indeed, it seemed in those first few days in particular, that much of the world was holding its collective breath to wait for more details to emerge before falling for a possible emotional, moral and political sucker punch.
The reason for this hesitancy? Well, we’ve all been to this rodeo before. As I will say many times on this web site, the devil’s always in the details, and in no subject is this principle more to be found than when it comes to incidents involving Israel, right up there with Russia as one of the most Machiavellian nations on the face of the earth.
No one with a beating heart can look upon this assault by Hamas and justify it, yet as bad as it was, it’s not the point. The point is, Israel has a well-deserved reputation for engineering, provoking and manipulating events to move the chess board forward the way she wants. And this latest crisis seems to be right according to that familiar pattern.
Deceit As A Way Of Life
Hegelian Exercise: When you walk into CIA headquarters, you’ll see emblazoned in stone their motto: “Ye Shall Know the Truth and the Truth Shall Make You Free – John 8:32,” a quote from Jesus Himself, no less. It is quite ironic, given how the CIA so routinely traffics in lying, psyops and misinformation, hardly the philosophy of Jesus Christ.[2]
The old slogan over Mossad headquarters however was much more blatant—”Through deception thou shalt wage war.” It’s a distortion of Proverbs 24:6—”by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war,” a very different connotation.[3]
Deception is intrinsic to hard core Talmudic philosophy and strategy, the kind that animates Israel’s right wing. As MAGA is to the Republican Party, so the ultra-fundamentalist settler movement is to their right wing. It is pursued not as an occasional desperate tactic, but as a way of life; as the rule, and not the exception.[4]
This is hard to grasp for people who at least try to be honest. It is hard for them to conceive that someone would be that calculating, or wouldn’t realize that such a philosophy could easily blow up in their face. It is, after all, the wisdom of the fool according to the Bible (Rom 1:22), the one who is “wise in his own conceits” (I Cor 3:19; Ro 11:25, etc), whom God loves to “take in their own craftiness” (I Cor 3:19). Indeed, this is the reason God said He was going to allow His ancient people to re-gather a second time in the land, that He might set a trap and expose Pharisee philosophy to the world (Eze 20:33-38; Psa 2, etc).
One of the ways Israel deploys this is by the Hegelian Process of “thesis-antithesis-synthesis,” or as Alex Jones loves to put it, “problem-reaction-solution.” The idea is you create a problem, it provokes a predictable reaction, and you provide the ready-made “solution” you intended all along.
Jay Sekulow, Zionist agit prop asset extraordinaire, deceitfully calls it “nine dimensional chess when it comes to Middle East politics,” as if it’s a game being initiated by the Muslims. But most of the time it’s Israel, no matter how much he hyper-ventilates to the contrary.
It is in short, a form of manipulation, the path of the con man. It’s the way of the crook, named after the crooked, meandering path he weaves—changing the rules, moving the goalpost, etc. (Think Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, et. al.) False flag operations, wherein an innocent third party is set up for the blame, is but one application. Allowing a tragedy to take place, the more horrific the better, is another.
Eyes Wide Shut
“Unit 8200 likewise has spent billions of dollars creating intelligence collection capabilities which vacuum up every piece of digital data coming out of Gaza — cell phone calls, e-mails, and SMS texting. Gaza is the most photographed place on the planet, and between satellite imagery, drones, and CCTV, every square meter of Gaza is estimated to be imaged every 10 minutes.”[5]
Hegelian Exercise: It is this paradigm of lying, spreading now like a cancer throughout the world,[6] that is perhaps the greatest factor in the atmosphere of global distrust among nations we see in these last days. This is why God told Daniel it would be a time when “rebels have become completely wicked” (Dan 8:23 NIV), by perfecting the art of deception.
With the proliferation of mass communications nowadays however (Dan 12:4), the world is beginning to catch on to this “rope-a-dope” game Israel has perfected. Thus were they waiting to see if any “tells” would come out.
They didn’t have to wait long. While Israel swung into damage control/psy op mode with the same old tired ritual of brow-beating their allies, guilt-mongering them to death for their less-than-perfect genuflection to “Israel’s security,” “Israel’s right to exist,” “Israel’s right to defend herself,” declaring our “undying commitment to Israel,” demanding everyone “take a stand for Israel,” declare “not an iota of daylight between us,” and on and on—a form of training actually—details were emerging to tell a fuller story.
And what was that? Well, among other things, two days after the attack, the Times of Israel no less, ran a piece, “Egypt Intelligence Official Says Israel Ignored Repeated Warnings Of ‘Something Big.’”
Egypt has been in partnership with Israel for 16 years now to block the southern border entrance to the Gaza Strip, to make sure Gazans have no way to escape a territory the UN Secretary General has called “hell on earth.” It’s a situation due to deliberate Israeli policy toward them.
According to this story, Egypt, which serves as a back channel between Israel and Hamas, repeatedly tried to warn them that Hamas was ready to carry out “something big”:
Mounting questions over Israel’s massive intelligence failure to anticipate and prepare for a surprise Hamas assault were compounded Monday when an Egyptian intelligence official said that Jerusalem had ignored repeated warnings that the Gaza-based terror group was planning “something big” — which included an apparent direct notice from Cairo’s intelligence minister to the prime minister.
“’We have warned them an explosion of the situation is coming, and very soon, and it would be big. But they underestimated such warnings,’ the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to discuss the content of sensitive intelligence discussions with the media, told The Associated Press.
Netanyahu denied receiving any such advance warning, saying in the course of an address to the nation Monday night that the story was “fake news…”
In one of the said warnings, Egypt’s Intelligence Minister General Abbas Kamel personally called Netanyahu only 10 days before the massive attack that Gazans were likely to do “something unusual, a terrible operation,” according to the Ynet news site.
Unnamed Egyptian officials told the site they were shocked by Netanyahu’s indifference to the news and said the premier told the minister the military was “submerged” in troubles in the West Bank.”[7] [Emphasis added].
You’ll notice a number of things here. One, Egypt specifically warned them the threat was coming from Hamas and Gaza, not the West Bank, ruled by the Palestinian Authority, which recognizes Israel’s right to exist. Two, they were warned repeatedly. Three, even their Minister of Intelligence called Netanyahu directly, 10 days before the attack, and said it was the Gazans (Hamas) that it would come from. Four, the Israeli PM had the audacity to call it “fake news” in a national address he gave on Monday night,[8] an amazing insult to a partner nation. Five, the Egyptians were shocked by Netanyahu’s indifference.
Yes, shocked, shocked I tell you, that Benjamin Netanyahu no less, would ever be involved in some form of Machiavellian manipulation or the other! But Mr. Israel, Mr. Security, has a long, long history of doing business exactly this way.
You can quibble about the details and all the “fog of war” excuses coming out now from Israeli officials (“we fight first, investigate later”, etc.), but the context is just too obvious to ignore. Even the US government had advanced warning, from Israel itself no less! The Republican chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee confirmed that Israel did have plenty of advanced knowledge.[9] Why then did they do nothing?
The Facts
“If you’re a 15 year-old child in Gaza, you’ve endured four conflicts since you were born—2009, 2012, 2014, 2021.”
-Mehdi Hasan, MSNBC host
Hegelian Exercise: Conflicts? More like beat downs.
Ah yes, another “intelligence failure.” Another case where the police body cams mysteriously stopped working, the surveillance lights for some reason “all went out” at a critical time…
But there are some things we do know for certain. We do know that Gaza is the third most densely-populated place on earth.[10] We know that 2.2 million people live there, half of them under 18. Ninety to ninety-five percent have no access to clean drinking water. You try living that way without your Alex Jones survivalist purifiers!
59% live in poverty, 70% of young people are unemployed, 69% are “food insecure,” (i.e., chronically hungry). All this is deliberate policy set by the Israelis, who refer to it in the Nazi-like language of, “putting them on a diet.”
The Gazans are surrounded by physical barriers on all sides—three border walls and the Mediterranean Sea to the West. (The Israelis love to build walls, a metastasizing phenomenon in our day).[11] They claim they’re not occupying the Strip, therefore they aren’t violating the Geneva Fourth Convention.
Yet they still do. The Gazans are surveilled from the sky, Israel controls all entry points in and out, they control their population registries, etc. Their “government,” run by Hamas is a joke. They sit on the Gazan people like a big Mafia gorilla. Although they were voted in in 2006, elections have not been held since. Dissent is brutally suppressed, and the people are left to choose between whom they hate the more, their Hamas oppressors or the sadistic Israelis. According to polls, less than a third of Gazans support Hamas.
The Gazans are blockaded from commerce through the sea or any other point of entry. If they try to fish for a living, they can’t go further out than five nautical miles, where the bulk of the fish are. Israeli patrol boats are “allowed” to use them for target practice.
Imported goods and supplies are severely restricted and controlled. Starting or maintaining a business is up to the whim of import officers. Items like bricks or paint can be banned as potential “bomb-making materials.”
I would assume those few who are allowed to establish a business do so with a price, that of serving as snitches on their own people. Some of the cruelty and arbitrariness of it all probably traces back to what Israelis, most of whom came from Soviet Russia, learned from petty bureaucrats.
Gaza has long been called by many, “the world’s largest open-air prison.” Even a former head of Israeli intelligence has recently used that phrase. But as a British artist who once visited said, “That seems a bit unfair to prisons—they don’t have their electricity and drinking water cut off randomly almost every day.”
There’s a method to the madness here that critics, naturally, are not allowed to question without a calumny of epithets about “anti-Semitism” raining down upon them. Mobs of settlers in the West Bank will gang-jump hapless Palestinians while the police stand by, watching and smirking. Heaping spite on a people whose main sin in life is being born in the wrong place and wrong bloodline has the psychological effect of demoralization.
Immiseration in short, seems to be the deliberate intent against them.
Impossible People and Impossible Nations
“What do you want the Gazans to do? Swim for it?”
– Jon Stewart
Hegelian Exercise: Donald Trump is not called “The Donald” for nothing. He’s a person impossible to deal with. If you submit to his endless demands and grievances, he despises you for groveling. If you resist, you go on his Enemies List. Every move he makes is designed to defeat you in an endless game of chess and rivalry.
Israel likewise, is an impossible nation. Their overall policy towards this people they injured so much in 1948, and have insulted ever since, seems to be “Just Go Away!”
And yet they are not allowed to go away. They are hemmed in on all four sides.[12] They don’t have the money to travel anyhow; Israel controls all foreign travel including emigration. They demonize them all over the world such that no nation would want them, even if they could go. Just consider the endless venom dumped upon “The Squad” here on hate radio, just because they dare to speak up for the hapless Palestinians’ plight.[13]
As Israel prepared for a ground invasion, they ordered over a million Gazans in the north to move to the south in 24 hours, taking, presumably, the literal clothes on their backs. Gas is selling for $35 a gallon now, so how is an impoverished population supposed to comply?
De-Humanize to Demonize—the Final Solution
“It is an entire nation out there that is responsible,” [Israeli President Isaac] Herzog said at a press conference on Friday [Oct. 13, 2023]. “It is not true this rhetoric about civilians not being aware, not involved. It’s absolutely not true. They could have risen up. They could have fought against that evil regime which took over Gaza in a coup d’etat.”
When a reporter asked Herzog to clarify whether he meant to say that since Gazans did not remove Hamas from power “that makes them, by implication, legitimate targets,” the Israeli president claimed, “No, I didn’t say that.”[14]
Hegelian Exercise: There’s a pattern emerging of Israeli officials using de-humanizing language to entice the world to throw overboard the moral authority of the post-World War II Geneva Conventions. These are international agreements that were drawn up specifically to address the Nazi atrocities, measures the world Jewish community pushed for the most.
Yet now Israel seems to be deploying policies similar to those of the Nazis. One gets the idea there may be a hidden “Our Turn” attitude at work here. So do many people on the earth, who wonder if genocide is the outright ultimate endgame to these ever-escalating rounds of beat downs.
Here’s a nice succinct account of Israeli officials using the language of genocide from the brilliant Mehdi Hasan:
Netanyahu’s hyperbolic rhetoric alone about fighting “Amalek,” a nation so degenerate God swore He would blot out the memory of them from under Heaven (Deut 25:19), certainly sounds genocidal to me. At the least he’s calling for a major ethnic cleansing with his calling for a “Second War of Independence” now, knowing what happened in the first one—700,000 Palestinians were murdered, purged out of their homes and into refugee camps.
Certainly, Talmudic values allow them to indulge all the hate and revenge they can get away with (Mt 5:43), such as in the illegal “Price Tag” policy.[15] This may be one of the objectives of allowing such a traumatic attack to happen—whipping the Israeli public up into a frenzy of blood vengeance. Netanyahu did it before in 2014 over three kidnapped Jewish kids in the West Bank.[16] Indeed, he has a long history of taking a minor incident and fanning it into these periodic wars where thousands end up killed, the exact opposite of what you want in a leader.
Ultimately then, this is driven by something much more coolly calculated by the Israeli government—to intentionally provoke and inflame the Palestinians, to put them in a pressure cooker, between a rock and a hard place, and use them as pawns in a game of chess with the rest of the world. In the process, you can degrade the post-World War II standards of the civilized world as a form of training for the next targeted population. (American liberals?)
If that sounds insane, it’s because it is, and the prophecies declare their utter failure in such a grand scheme to “inherit the earth” this way (Zech 14:2, etc). Their policies are so impossible to deal with, the Palestinians either lash out in rage, or sink into despair and often become candidates for suicide bombings and other expressions of “nothing to lose.” Half of all Palestinian children have had thoughts of suicide at one time or another.
I just saw a news clip of a little girl, maybe 6 or 7, injured in a hospital. She had lost her entire family from just one bomb. Do you think she might grow up to become a terrorist?
Another little girl was describing what life in Gaza is like. She held her own for a while, then just broke down and started sobbing uncontrollably, saying, “It’s scary. We don’t know where to go.” The look on the face of her little sister to the left is especially heart-breaking:
No crisis actors here.
In my book, American Babylon, American Antichrist, I have a quote from a Matthew Alexander, a senior American interrogator in Iraq. He said he couldn’t count the number of jihadists he interrogated who travelled to Iraq to fight us because of Abu Ghraib (overseen by the Israelis), and Guantanamo. He said 90% of the suicide bombers came from this group, who killed hundreds of Americans.
The War On Terror was not designed to eliminate terrorists, but to guarantee an endless supply of them, to justify the invasion of the Middle East and take down Israel’s enemies, while providing theater for macho yahoos who want to feel like they’re “being tough.” This is modern Machiavellian statecraft, the kind the Qanon people claim they hate so much.
A Demographic War?
“Walid, whose real name and personal details are being withheld to avoid reprisals, described being kept in a “cage” without a roof, under the sun and without food, water or access to the toilet for three days, according to a written testimony given to the Israel-based human rights organisation HaMoked and seen by Al Jazeera.
He was then moved to an area of about 300 square metres where hundreds of labourers shared a chemical toilet cubicle. When he asked to contact the Red Cross, he was cursed and beaten up by soldiers.
Walid was released after Israeli officers ascertained that, although he was born in Gaza, he is a resident of the West Bank. His testimony is among the few accounts to have so far emerged from the detention centres where Gaza workers have been held incommunicado and without legal representation since October 7.”
“Thousands of Gaza workers go ‘missing’ in Israel amid wartime mass arrests”[17]
Hegelian Exercise: For Israel, who invented the war on terror,[18] this attack of course provides the perfect excuse to apply the “solution,” to thin out the herd. They even have a word for it there—a periodic “mowing of the lawn.”
“Just like mowing your front lawn, this is constant, hard work,” David M. Weinberg of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security wrote for the Jerusalem Post this week. “If you fail to do so, weeds grow wild and snakes begin to slither around in the brush.”[19]
“Mowing the lawn” is a veiled reference to undermining one of the Palestinians’ few weapons—demographic warfare. By having a lot of babies, they hope they can “out-maternity race” the Jews. Or at least, this is the cynical assumption. Of course, the Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox of the settler movement do the same thing. In a world where every child born into it ups the carbon footprint, this is yet one more aspect of what a tragedy of carnality this all is (Phil 3:3-7).
Thus did Israel’s Defense Minister no less, Yoav Gallant announce:
“I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no water, no fuel – everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly.” [Emphasis added]
All these measures are war crimes according to international law, but Kabbalistic philosophy claims that the souls of all Gentiles are inherently evil, and classified as somewhere between human and animal. This is one of the objectives of this “intelligence failure”—to dehumanize the Palestinians in the eyes of the world so that Israel has an excuse to genocide them all. Or at least that’s the growing suspicion in the hearts of those on the receiving end, and those who understand their plight.
It is not “just Marxist, anti-colonialist,” throwaway rhetoric on campuses that the right is always screaming about. That Israel is colonizing Palestinian territory goes without saying. Those settlements are planned strategically to surround and choke off Palestinian villages in the West Bank. “Colonialism” though, is sometimes a way of avoiding a discussion about the explosive controversy over “anti-Semitism.”
Neither is it even about religion first and foremost to the Gazans, as much as right-wing radio may insist it is. Life for the average Palestinian means survival on a daily basis. They don’t have the luxury of thinking in terms of religious biases and Sunni/Shia controversies.
I highly recommend you watch the documentary, Born in Gaza on Netflix. It too will break your heart.
As that Proverb under the title puts it, wisdom and understanding are inter-related, yet the Israelis act as if their policies have nothing to do with the reactions they’re getting from around the world. The pretend explanation for it is, “everyone’s anti-Semitic.” The United Nations, which maintains extensive relief services for the Palestinians, particularly comes under attack by Israel for this.
They smear the rest of the world and act as if they don’t understand. But they aren’t a dumb people. They can’t claim ignorance, and that’s why people are screaming all the louder this time.
Netanyahu’s Long, Sordid Record
Hegelian Exercise: So, “doddering old Joe Biden” decided to risk his life by visiting a war zone for a second time in his administration, to “encourage his old friend Bibi,” and meet with Arab leaders in the region to try to prevent a wider conflict? But a funny thing happened while he was still in the air—the Anglican-run Al-Ahli hospital was bombed.
The official position is that it was a mis-fired rocket by Islamic Jihad, yet of all the places it could land, it’s on a hospital where an estimated 1000 people were getting treatment or sheltering, hoping it wouldn’t be a target. Just as a President of the United States is about to land, this “coincidentally happens.”
This is the problem Israel has now. Even if they were innocent of this, they have such a reputation now of “the boy who cried wolf,” that no one believes them for anything. As a result, every Arab leader cancelled their meetings with Biden, and Bibi can ignore any pleas for restraint.
As a Christian, Jesus Christ does not allow me to deceive others. Talmudic philosophy does. So why shouldn’t the world take everything they say and do with a grain of salt?
This incident will probably never be resolved and will go down, lost in the “fog of war.” Palestinian partisans are claiming that nothing they have on their side could have done that kind of damage, but it’s not the point. The point is that Israel has a long history of “amazing coincidences” at “just the right time” that just happen to move their reckless Hegelian process forward, especially when Benjamin Netanyahu is at the helm.
To wit, Joe Biden in particular, has a long history of being humiliated by Mr. Israel, even as he’s “in the air.” When Biden was Vice-President and on his way to another interminable session to persuade the Middle East’s perpetual victim to please play nice with the other kids, Netanyahu flouted the terms of “the peace process” by announcing more new settlements, even before Biden landed. He later presented him with a picture in memory of Biden’s mother, framed in broken glass he claimed he accidentally leaned on, a possible allusion to a Jewish wedding ceremony where the bridegroom steps on a glass.[20]
It seems to be part of a ritual, to publicly humiliate an American leader with an in-your-face dare to “do something” about the way he just pushed us around before the world. He does this knowing what “treatment” people like Biden will get from Israel’s well-trained cult of idolaters if he dares tells him off. But it really plays to a lot of gratification the Israeli public gets from ordering around the world’s biggest super power. He’s the Donald Trump of Israel and the settlers his MAGA base, who can’t get enough of him “owning,” not just the libs, but the whole world.
This is why Obama couldn’t stand him, nor even Trump, who bristled at him long before he “delivered the Jerusalem embassy.” Now he says “Bibi’s ungrateful,” which he is. It won’t take much for the Antichrist to turn on Israel eventually.
I haven’t even touched upon one possibly very big motive for Netanyahu to ignore these warnings, to get out from under the indictments that are threatening to put him in jail. That will take a separate article. This one is getting too long as it is. To be continued…

[2] Some in the CIA sincerely want to protect the United States and look upon what they do as just “the hand they are dealt” in the modern world. Others however love to play James Bond with a license to kill. It’s this part of the “Deep State” that is indeed so dangerous to democracy.
[3] Israel has apparently decided this was a little too blatant even for them, so they changed it to more like the actual verse. “In his book titled “By Way of Deception: The Making and Unmaking of a Mossad Officer”, Victor Ostrovsky mentioned that the Mossad academy director told him that the Mossad motto was “Deceit is essential in warfare”, not exactly the Bible quote.” https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/285883/meaning-of-by-way-of-deception-thou-shalt-do-war
[4] Since the Jew is perpetually at war with the Gentile, so the “logic” goes, deceit is justified as necessary for their survival. Even being honest or sincere at times is not pursued as a goal or intrinsic good as you find in Christianity, but as a means to an end. It’s one of the big differences between Jesus and His old nemesis, the Pharisees (Mt 23:28; 22:16-18; Lu 11:44, etc).[4] Judaism is the religion of the Pharisees.

[15] If a Palestinian attacks Israel in any way, the latter are allowed by law to retaliate against his whole family, for instance. That may mean plowing down their only family home. Retaliations against innocent civilians are a war crime according to the Geneva Conventions. It is justified by claiming “they’re all complicit,” they’re “human animals,” ad nauseum. At no point are these policies of humiliation allowed to be considered the source of the problem in the first place.
